Washington County Parks has received approval from the Bureau of Land Reclamation for a 1/2 mile – 1 mile re-route to restore access to the trail. We are re-building that section of trail. It will likely include installation of a short bridge\, one culvert\, probably 3+ rock sections\, 3+ climbing turns\, and potentially more retaining walls. \n\n\n\nEquipment we will be using will include\, but not be limited to: rakes\, McLeods\, Pulaskis\, hoes\, various shovels\, wheelbarrows\, buckets\, and others. Tools will be provided; however\, if you’d like to bring additional tools\, you are welcome and encouraged to do so. \n\n\n\nEquipment needed: helmet (cycling helmets are OK)\, long pants\, good work gloves; we can help ensure you have a helmet\, if needed. Long sleeve shirts are recommended. If conditions are wet\, rain gear and sturdy boots are recommended. \n\n\n\n\nNotes:  \n\n\n\n\nNo drinks\, snacks\, or swag provided for this work party; others throughout the work season will have them. For this work party\, please bring your own drinks and food. \n\n\n\nParking passes will be provided; no parking fee is required.\n\n\n\nVolunteer waivers will be available at the work site.
