DESCRIPTION:The NW Trail Sisters’ July ride will be outside of Hood River exploring the newest trails in the 44 Trails system. We’ll meet at the Dog River Trailhead and then shuttle up to the top of Upper Cooks Meadow. \nThis ride is open to intermediate+ riders who identify as women/trans/femme or gender NC. This is an intermediate+ ride due to the length (16 miles)\, elevation gain (1K+)\, descent (5K) and technical features. Please respect this skills filter. Check out our skill level cheat sheet to see what that means. https://nw-trail.org/resources/skill-levels/ This will be a no-drop ride\, so if you’re looking to PR\, you may want to pass on this one as we may be stopping frequently to session things. \nWestern Bikeworks will be demoing Norco bikes that day so if you’re wanting to check out a fancy new bike\, here’s your chance to do it while hanging out with some awesome\, like-minded folks. If you’re gonna demo\, I suggest checking in with Western Bikeworks ahead of time to ensure there’s a bike there for you and please have that all taken care of before our 9:30 meetup time. You’ll need to bring your own helmet and pedals and a credit card and ID to check out the bike.
