NWTA’s annual fundraiser helps raise critical dollars that go right back into trails and bike programming. Each entry cost provides you with unlimited shuttle laps\, refreshments\, and great community vibes. Local shops\, including Cyclepath PDX and River City Bicycles\, and other NWTA sponsors such as Oregon Territory Outfitters\, Discover Oregon Backcountry\, and Bicycle Attorney will be on site to add to the great atmosphere! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\n\nYour bike\, helmet\, riding gear\, shoes etc.\n\n\n\nWater/hydration\n\n\n\nSnacks\n\n\n\n\nSchedule: \n\n\n\n\nCheck in begins at 8:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nShuttles start at 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nLast shuttle: 3:00 p.m. sharp\n\n\n\n\nThink your plans might change? Refunds will be issued in full for registration refund requests (less registration software processing fees) received no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the event start date and time. A partial refund of 50% will be issued for registration refund requests received after seven (7) calendar days and up to twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the event. Tools will be provided; however\, if you’d like to bring additional tools\, you are welcome and encouraged to do so.\n\n\n\nEquipment needed: helmet (cycling helmets are OK)\, long pants\, sturdy\, comfortable footwear\, and good work gloves. We can help ensure you have a helmet\, if needed. Long sleeve shirts are recommended. If conditions are wet\, rain gear is recommended.\n\n\n\n\nOther Notes: \n\n\n\n\nDrinks\, snacks\, and swag will not be provided at the end of this event. Please bring water and snacks to keep with you at the work site.\n\n\n\nParking passes will be provided; no parking fee is required.\n\n\n\nVolunteer waivers will be available at the work site. Tillicum is one of the most primitive trails remaining on the 18omi Loowit Tier we launched last summer. Let’s finish tuning it up! A historic and surprisingly fun trail\, and relatively easy pedal loop. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nCome for one day or campout and do both. We need volunteers of all sorts: sawyers primarily\, but also swampers\, brushers\, and dirt worshipers. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED—we can find a valuable role for you. DESCRIPTION:SHIFT is back at Marble Mountain! Join us for a weekend of trail work and riding. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nGreat news! Our weekend party around a work party is back! \n\n\n\nWork party date: Saturday\, July 17th\, 2024 / 9 am-3 pm \n\n\n\nCampout dates: Friday\, July 16th – Sunday\, July 18th. Informal social rides will be happening all weekend! \n\n\n\nMeet at Marble Mountain Sno Park (NF-83\, Cougar WA 98616) \n\n\n\nWe will be working in areas you will have to access via riding your bike. When registering\, please be honest with your riding skill and stamina in order for us to get you into the right work group. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring for the work party: \n\n\n\n* Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long pants (no shorts)\, boots\, gloves\, eye protection\, and gloves \n\n\n\n* Jacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\n* Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\n* Water \n\n\n\n* Snacks \n\n\n\n* Lunch \n\n\n\nNWTA will have tools available\, but please bring your favorite tread tool if you have one (rakes\, McLeod\, rouge hoe\, loppers) \n\n\n\nAfter the work party on Saturday\, dinner will be provided for all volunteers (please pre-register). Adult beverages are generously provided by Hopworks.\n\n\n\nPlease be prepared and bring enough food and water for yourself and your group for the remainder of the weekend. Please bring reusable plates/cutlery for a more sustainable event. Garbage will not be provided\, participants will be packing out what they pack in. \n\n\n\nCampout details: \n\n\n\nOur basecamp for the weekend will be at Marble Mountain Sno Park. This is a paved parking lot with areas close by ideal for dispersed camping. There is also ample space for RVs and campers; however\, no electricity or water on site. Be prepared and bring everything that you need. \n\n\n\nBathroom – 2 vault toilets (bring toilet paper!). \n\n\n\nPET (DOG) OWNERS: If you bring your pet\, know that you cannot leave them unattended at the basecamp. Though this a slower-paced\, no-drop ride\, please assess your fitness honestly to ensure are able to do this and still have a good time! \n\n\n\nPlease bring: \n\n\n\n\nA mountain bike in good working order (just front\, or front and rear suspension\, knobby tires\, enough gears to get you up hills\, flat handlebar\, tires pumped\, sealant checked\, bolts tight\, chain clean and lubed\, brakes and shifters working)\n\n\n\nSnacks and water\n\n\n\nA multi-tool\, hand pump\, and extra tube are also good to have!\n\n\n\n\nIf you reigster but find that you are not able to make it\, please cancel your Eventbrite registration so our ride leaders have a good idea of how many folks to expect. \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE. \n\n\n\nActivities like this are made possible by NWTA memberships.
