DESCRIPTION:Like solid traction on your rides. If so\, come on out and help prep the trails for winter. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin us for a Trail Maintenance day at Sandy Ridge. Trail work will last approximately 6 hours\, wrapping up at 3:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nSchedule: \n\n\n\n9:00 AM Safety Meeting in Parking Lot \n\n\n\n9:15 AM Drive up to tool storage area \n\n\n\n9:30 AM Head out to work areas \n\n\n\n2:00 – 2:30 PM Finish up work and head back to tool storage area \n\n\n\n2:30 – 3:00 PM Clean tools and have after trail work refreshments \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, long pants (no shorts)\, boots\, gloves\, eye protection \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch \n\n\n\nFavorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own) \n\n\n\nOptional: Folding Handsaw \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 mins early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We’ll provide the tools and guidance\, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to work as a team. You will be walking up to 2 miles away from the meeting location and restrooms\, so please be ready to hike. DESCRIPTION:Join the Trail Sisters for a day of trail work at Rocky Point. \n\n\n\n\nRegister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin the Trail Sisters as we get after some trail work\, including corridor refining\, bench work and armoring. No experience is required. Trail Sisters are women and nonbinary folks who support each other on and off the trail. \n\n\n\nThe dig will run from 9:30 am to 1 or 2 pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We are starting promptly at 9:30 am. \n\n\n\nWe will meet in the main parking lot at Rocky Point. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\nWarm clothing and extra layers.\n\n\n\nRain jacket (and rain pants if you have them and the weather calls for it): It’s January in the PNW\, odds are high it’ll rain\, but that doesn’t stop us from digging!\n\n\n\nGloves (waterproof are best): It wouldn’t hurt to bring an extra pair\, too. Cold hands suck! We have extras if needed.\n\n\n\nSturdy shoes\n\n\n\nHelmet or hard hat (required)\n\n\n\nEye protection\n\n\n\nWater\n\n\n\nSnacks and lunch\n\n\n\nBike and bike gear for post-dig rips\n\n\n\n\nTOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED. You are not required to bring any tools\, but if you have your own folding saw\, loppers\, rake\, shovel\, or hoe\, feel free to bring them. \n\n\n\nWaiver: Once registered\, please sign the waiver HERE. \n\n\n\nThese events are very popular and sell out quickly.
