DESCRIPTION:Trail Sisters hears you and we are answering your call! Join us back at Sandy Ridge for a chill\, guided ride. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis will be a chill\, guided ride around the trails at Sandy Ridge. Ride at your own pace\, get comfy on your bike\, learn from others\, and maybe come away with a riding buddy or two! \n\n\n\nMeet at the main parking lot at the Sandy Ridge Trailhead in Brightwood. Your ride leaders will meet you there\, go over bike safety\, talk about route options\, and show you around! \n\n\n\nNote this is not a clinic\, just an opportunity to come together and ride with other women who are just getting into mountain biking. \n\n\n\nThere will be at least 400 feet of climbing on a paved road. Though this a slower-paced\, no-drop ride\, please assess your fitness honestly to ensure are able to do this and still have a good time! \n\n\n\nPlease bring: \n\n\n\n\nA mountain bike in good working order (just front\, or front and rear suspension\, knobby tires\, enough gears to get you up hills\, flat handlebar\, tires pumped\, sealant checked\, bolts tight\, chain clean and lubed\, brakes and shifters working)\n\n\n\nSnacks and water\n\n\n\nA multi-tool\, hand pump\, and extra tube are also good to have!\n\n\n\n\nIf you reigster but find that you are not able to make it\, please cancel your Eventbrite registration so our ride leaders have a good idea of how many folks to expect. \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE. \n\n\n\nActivities like this are made possible by NWTA memberships. DESCRIPTION:NWTA’s annual Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day returns\, this time at the fantastic EasyCLIMB trail system in Cascade Locks! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin us on Saturday\, October 3\, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cascade Locks’ EasyCLIMB trail system to celebrate the annual Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day event. \n\n\n\nThis fun-filled day will include skills stations\, activities for all levels of riders\, bike games\, and a raffle! Bring bikes\, helmets\, and water bottles. NWTA will have a limited number of youth mountain bikes to loan. \n\n\n\nDesignated in 2004 by the U.S. Congress\, Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day is a family-friendly outdoor event focused on celebrating the magic of mountain biking and building confidence in young riders. Returning to the towering cliffs of southwest Utah on Thursday\, October 8\, the women’s field will once again showcase the creativity\, progression and commitment that define big-mountain freeride. \n\n\n\nNow entering its third year as part of Red Bull Rampage\, the women’s competition continues to build momentum\, bringing together established stars\, previous podium finishers and a new generation of riders ready to leave their mark on freeride’s biggest stage. Women’s finals unfold on Thursday\, October 8\, ahead of the men’s contest two days later.

We will mainly be raking debris\, shaping berms\, smoothing out rough sections\, building features\, looking at drainage\, and testing lines. \n\n\n\nWe welcome all women and non-binary folks interested in trail building to join us! No prior digging experience is necessary. \n\n\n\nWaiver: Once registered\, please sign the waiver HERE. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\nWarm clothing and extra layers.\n\n\n\nRain jacket (and rain pants if you have them and the weather calls for it): It’s January in the PNW\, odds are high it’ll rain\, but that doesn’t stop us from digging!\n\n\n\nGloves (waterproof are best): It wouldn’t hurt to bring an extra pair\, too. Cold hands suck! DESCRIPTION:Join us in continuing our work on the new skills zone at Stub Stewart! \n\n\n\n\nRegister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin us at Stub Stewart where we will be continuing work in the skills zone. \n\n\n\nWhat are we doing?: The day will involve dialing in our three downhill lines and continuing work on a return/climb trail. We will mainly be raking debris\, shaping berms\, smoothing out rough sections\, building features\, looking at drainage\, and testing lines. \n\n\n\nWe welcome all women and non-binary folks interested in trail building to join us! No prior digging experience is necessary. \n\n\n\nWaiver: Once registered\, please sign the waiver HERE. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\nWarm clothing and extra layers.\n\n\n\nRain jacket (and rain pants if you have them and the weather calls for it): It’s January in the PNW\, odds are high it’ll rain\, but that doesn’t stop us from digging!\n\n\n\nGloves (waterproof are best): It wouldn’t hurt to bring an extra pair\, too. Cold hands suck!
