They’ll learn to climb\, descend and ride both faster and at incredibly slow speeds with more confidence. They’ll have more fun riding technical terrain including steep sections\, tricky switchbacks\, technical climbs\, and more.  \n\n\n\nBike: A mountain bike\, preferably full suspension with platform pedals\, two-hand brakes front and back\, a seat that can move up and down\, and is in good working condition. Single speeds are OK but a bike with gears will be more fun on the climbs.  \n\n\n\nRequired Gear:  \n\n\n\n-A properly fitting helmet in good condition and is less than 5 years old. \n\n\n\n-Water bottle and snacks \n\n\n\n-Clothing appropriate for the weather \n\n\n\n-Tools for moving the seat up and down if necessary \n\n\n\n-Pack to carry layers\, snacks\, tools\, and water \n\n\n\nRecommended Gear: \n\n\n\n-Full-fingered gloves \n\n\n\n-Knee and elbow protection \n\n\n\n-Eye protection \n\n\n\n-Tools and supplies to change a flat tire (with assistance!) \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE \n\n\n\nNWTA follows the current state-mandated protocols.
