Join us next Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a great opportunity to tune up part of the trails in this amazing park. Meet at the Ellis St entrance. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nJoin NWTA & Portland Parks as we head to Powell Butte to touch up on some trail maintenance to get everything ready for the summer. \n\n\n\nWhere to Meet \n\n\n\nEllis Street Trailhead: 5608 SE 145th Avenue\, Portland\, OR 97236 \n\n\n\nScope of Work \n\n\n\nJoin Portland Parks & Recreation staff and community volunteers in completing important trail work projects on Powell Butte. \n\n\n\nNo experience necessary! Youth participants must be at least age 14\, and all volunteers aged 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign our youth waiver forms. \n\n\n\nWear sturdy close-toed shoes\, long pants\, and long-sleeved shirts. Bring rain gear and/or sun gear\, a hat\, a filled water bottle\, and snacks. Bring gloves if you have a pair and prefer to use your own. Instruction\, tools and gloves otherwise provided. \n\n\n\nYou will be walking up to 5 miles away from the meeting location and restrooms\, so please be ready to hike.
