DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday June 3\, from 9 am – 2 pm at Sandy Ridge Trail System to get the trails ready for summer! Trail work will last approximately 4 hours\, wrapping up at 2:00. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch \n\n\n\nFavorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own). \n\n\n\nOptional: Folding Handsaw \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. DESCRIPTION:Come out and help keep the Klootchy Creek trails running smooth – Registration is Required! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nMeet up in the Klootchy parking lot at 9:45 for safety brief and planning session. \n\n\n\nWe’ll be taking on some brushing\, tread maintenance\, and checking drainage after the first big rain of the season. We will be working behind the locked gate and will leave the parking lot as a group at 10\, so if you are running late\, please call or text Nell at 703-638-4626 so we can make alternate arrangements. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring \n\n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves\n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared)\n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)\n\n\n\nWater\n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch\n\n\n\nFace Covering as recommended by the CDC (in case we can’t maintain social proper social distancing)\n\n\n\n\nTools will be provided. \n\n\n\nWaiver: Once registered\, please sign the waiver HERE. \n\n\n\nQuestions: call or text Nell at 703-638-4626\, or email nells@nw-trail.org
