This in-person event is perfect for nature enthusiasts\, families\, and anyone who loves adventure. Discover hidden treasures\, unearth fossils\, and learn about the rich history of this beautiful park. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned digger or a first-timer\, our experienced leads will be there to assist you throughout the day. Grab your shovels\, buckets\, and enthusiasm\, and get ready to uncover the mysteries of Klootchy Creek! \n\n\n\nDon’t miss out on this exciting event! Mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable day of digging and discovery at Klootchy Creek County Park! \n\n\n\n10am – 3 pm at Klootchy Creek Park \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 5 hours\, wrapping up at 3:00. \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch \n\n\n\nFavorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own). \n\n\n\nOptional: Folding Handsaw \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in.
