DESCRIPTION:Join the Trail Sisters for a night of sessioning Upper Hide & Seek. \n\n\n\n\nregister\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nHave you always wanted to ride Upper Hide & Seek? Or maybe you’ve ridden it but it didn’t go as smoothly as you wanted? Join the Trail Sisters for a night of sessioning Upper Hide & Seek\, where we work our way down the trail. We’ll discuss line choice\, speed\, braking\, and navigating roots/rocks. This NW Trail Sister’s event that is open to all who identify as female and non-binary. 18+\, please. \n\n\n\nThis event is open to Intermediate skill levels. Plan to pedal at 10-15 miles with at least 2\,000’ of climbing. \n\n\n\nClass size is limited\, and pre-registration is required. Cost: $10 donation to NWTA\, scholarships available (email allisonhurtgen@gmail.com). \n\n\n\nThings to Bring: \n\n\n\nA bike in good working orderHelmet – mandatoryWater & SnacksFirst Aid KitPlease bring a helmet- or handlebar-mounted light for safety\, as we’ll be riding close to dusk. \n\n\n\nPlease sign this waiver to participate.  \n\n\n\nMeet at the Sandy Ridge Trailhead Parking Lot at 5:00pm\, to roll by 5:30pm. \n\n\n\nEvents like these are made possible by NWTA’s Membership dollars. If you are not yet a member or need to renew your membership\, you can do so here. \n\n\n\nSandy Ridge is managed by the Bureau of Land Management\, a parking pass is now required at this trail head and can be accessed at Recreation.gov \n\n\n\n*IMPORTANT* These events fill quickly and always have a waitlist of people hoping to join. SUMMARY:Trail Sister's Guided Bikepacking Weekend - 8/26
DESCRIPTION:Trail Sisters\, join us for a guided bikepacking weekend August 26-28th in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. \n\n\n\n\nregister\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nCome bikepacking with the Trail Sisters! Led by three women who completed the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) in summer ’21. \n\n\n\nBikepacking is a great mix of backpacking and bike touring! See more about it at bikepackingroots.org and bikepacking.com. \n\n\n\nThis weekend trip is perfect for NWTA members who identify as female and non-binary\, who want to try bikepacking and make new bikepacking friends.  \n\n\n\nParticipation will be capped at 12. Please be in good riding shape (check the route descriptions)\, have a functioning bike suited for the non-technical terrain (mountain or gravel bike or similar)\, and be able to carry your own camping gear. \n\n\n\nDates: Aug 26-28 (Meet at Goose Lake campground Friday night\, return to Goose Lake by Sunday mid-afternoon) \n\n\n\nRoute: Fire and Ice Cave Loop \n\n\n\nQuestions?
