DESCRIPTION:Please note: The Dig Day at Sandy Ridge is not the TSI Trail School. Click HERE to sign up for that. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us on Sunday\, November 14th at Sandy Ridge Trail System to help get the trails ready for winter riding! \n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE \n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nJoin us on Sunday\, November 14th\, from 9 am – 2 pm at Sandy Ridge Trail System to get the trails in shape for more riding! Trail work will last approximately 4 hours\, wrapping up at 2:00.  \n\n\n\nCOVID Protocols \n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19\, masks are mandatory when you cannot maintain safe social distancing. We have also had to limit the number of participants. Please make sure to pre-register. \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nFace Covering as recommended by the CDCYour bike (optional)Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & GlovesJacket (be prepared)Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)WaterSnacks LunchFavorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own).Optional: Folding Handsaw\n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. Click HERE to sign up for that. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNorthwest Trail Alliance’s Trail Sustainability Institute’s goal is to foster a culture of land stewardship within the mountain bike community. By training people to build sustainable trails\, and by training people to lead crews of trail builders\, we are raising the level of our own stewardship\, and increasing our capacity to build and maintain quality trails. \n\n\n\nTrail School covers the fundamental skills needed to maintain our trails. Participants will be learning safety techniques and tool identification/uses\, as well as hands-on training of corridor clearing\, drainage\, and benchwork.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCOVID Protocols \n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19\, masks are mandatory when you cannot maintain safe social distancing. We have also had to limit the number of participants.
