DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of trail maintenance at Sandy Ridge. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDIG DAY — Sandy Ridge\n\n\n\n9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Trailhead \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 6 hours\, wrapping up at 3:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, long pants (no shorts)\, boots\, gloves\, eye protection \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch \n\n\n\nFavorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own) \n\n\n\nOptional: Folding Handsaw \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 mins early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. DESCRIPTION:Join the Trail Sisters for a day of trail work at Sandy Ridge. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin the Trail Sisters as we give Rock Drop\, 338\, and Flow Motion some much needed love\, including raking\, corridor trimming\, drainage\, and berm repairs. No experience is required. Trail Sisters are women and nonbinary folks who love to support each other both on and off the trail. \n\n\n\nThe dig will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We are starting promptly at 9:30 a.m. \n\n\n\nWe will meet in the main parking lot and carpool up from there. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\nWork clothes: Long sleeve shirt\, pants\, boots\, gloves\, eye protection\, jacket\n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (This is non-negotiable. Things fall in the forest. Just like when riding\, protect your noggin.)\n\n\n\nWater\n\n\n\nSnacks\n\n\n\nOptional: Your bike\, favorite trail tool; hoes\, McLeods\, metal rakes\, folding hand saws and loppers\n\n\n\n\nTools will be provided. You are not required to bring any tools\, but if you have your own folding saw\, loppers\, rake\, spade shovel\, or hoe\, feel free to bring it. \n\n\n\nThese events are very popular and sell out quickly. If you are unable to attend for any reason\, please cancel your registration with at least 24-hours notice so others on the waitlist have an opportunity to come. \n\n\n\nEmail Carrie at carriej@nw-trail.org with any questions.
