DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED … STAY TUNED FOR A RESCHEDULE. \n\n\n\nJoin us Thursday Evening May 18th at Rocky Point for our first feature building clinic. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nThis is an intro class. No experience necessary\, and we welcome all skill levels. \n\n\n\nDrew Petersen\, Derek Kidd\, and Charlie Kohlmeier will be teaching members how to build sustainable features. We will focus on building proper shapes\, designing drainage\, and evaluating durability. \n\n\n\nOur clinic will take to the trail as we repair some features on Machete. \n\n\n\nAfter the clinic\, we will session our newly repaired features and enjoy some late dinner. \n\n\n\n____________________________________ \n\n\n\nTIMELINE \n\n\n\n5:00 — Meet \n\n\n\n5:00-5:30 — Ride in \n\n\n\n5:30-8:00 — Build & Session \n\n\n\n8:00-8:30 — Eat / Ride out \n\n\n\nSCOPE  \n\n\n\nWe will be shaping features\, which requires moving and compacting dirt. \n\n\n\nWHAT TO BRING \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nBike Helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nWE HAVE TOOLS \n\n\n\nTo make it easier for all of us to ride in\, we will have tools ready on site! \n\n\n\nBRING YOUR RIDING GEAR \n\n\n\nMake sure to bring your bike so we can ride the features after they are built.
