SUMMARY:Trail School @ Easy Climb Trail - Cascade Locks - 4/2
DESCRIPTION:The Trail Sustainability Institute will be hosting Trail School at Easy Climb in Cascade Locks. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nTrail School teaches the fundamental skills needed to maintain our trails. Participants will be learning safety techniques and tool identification/uses and hands-on training of corridor clearing\, drainage\, as well as bench and tread work. \n\n\n\nNorthwest Trail Alliance’s Trail Sustainability Institute’s goal is to foster a culture of land stewardship within the mountain bike community. By teaching folks to build sustainable trails and by training experienced trail stewards to lead crews of trail builders\, we are raising the level of our stewardship and increasing our capacity to build and maintain quality trails.  \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE \n\n\n\nWhat to wear: \n\n\n\n– Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\n– Jacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\n– Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\n-Gloves \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\n\n\n– Water \n\n\n\n– Snacks \n\n\n\n– Lunch. \n\n\n\nSTART time is 10am. Please have yourself and your gear ready by that time. You may find it helpful to arrive 15 minutes early.  \n\n\n\n*COMMITMENT* If you are unable to attend this event\, please give a minimum of 24 hours notice so we can offer this opportunity to other participants.  \n\n\n\nPlease email nancys@nw-trail.org with any questions you may have.
