DESCRIPTION:Great opportunity to get the gravity lines up and going again! \n\n\n\n\nREGISTER FOR 10/3 DIG DAY\n\n\n\n\nDetails \n\n\n\nTrimet’s Better Red Phase 3 construction has begun. While it has significantly affected the beloved gravity lines\, Portland Parks & Recreation has once again brought back the original line builder Sasquatch Trails to rework the remaining open line. \n\n\n\nSasquatch has been out working creating tabletops and banked turns\, and now we need you to help put the final touches so that we can open the trail. \n\n\n\nWhere to Meet \n\n\n\nMeet at the start hill at the bottom 3rd of the Gravity Lines \n\n\n\nGetting to the Event \n\n\n\nRide your bike or take public transportation. If you must drive\, on-street parking is available around the Gateway Transit Center. If you’re dropping someone off\, you can use one of the quick-drop spaces in the Transit Center’s overflow lot. We do not encourage you to park in neighboring residential areas. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring \n\n\n\nFace Covering as recommended by the CDCYour bikeWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & GlovesJacket (be prepared)Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)WaterSnacks Lunch\n\n\n\nTools will be provided. \n\n\n\nCOVID Protocols \n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19\, masks are mandatory when you cannot maintain safe social distancing. DESCRIPTION:Saturday September  19\, 2020 – Northwest Trail Alliance in partnership with Portland Parks & Rec is hosting it’s 1st Dig Day of 2020 at The Dirt Lab @ Gateway Green! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPhase 2 construction has been continuing at your local mountain bike park at Gateway Green. Contractor Sasquatch Trails has been hard at work moving the dirt on the hillside canvas to install 2 lines on the south hill side. Now we need you to come and get things shaped and ready for the park to open in November.  \n\n\n\nDue to COVID – 19 we are strictly limiting the number of volunteers. We NEED you to pre register & sign the online waiver prior to the event. Day of & non pre-registered volunteers will be turned away. We have mandatory guidelines for facial coverings and social distancing measures that need to be followed. This will be shared with your registration confirmation. Please understand that this is not only for your safety but for the safety of our entire community. \n\n\n\nMandatory: \n\n\n\nPreregister Here \n\n\n\nWavier Here \n\n\n\nThe Dirt Lab has been a great success since it opened in June of 2017! Our community has enjoyed the singletrack trails\, pumptrack\, skills area\, and jumps.
