How to Participate:
Entries for the drawing described at https://nw-trail.org/support-the-trails-win-a-bike/ can be purchased1 here. A digital download URL will be provided via email receipt in consideration for each Drawing Entry purchased from the Purchase site; in addition, purchases of $40 or more result in complimentary membership with Northwest Trail Alliance. Each purchased entry is one chance to win. All valid entries1, as determined by the Northwest Trail Alliance, Inc. (NWTA), a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation under the laws of the State of Oregon, in its sole and absolute discretion, will be entered into a drawing for the indicated prize. Participation in this drawing constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and NWTA’s decisions which are final and binding in all matters related to this drawing. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements as set forth herein. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Participation void where the rules and conditions of the Drawing are prohibited by law.
Drawing Rules:
The NWTA x River City Bicycle Specialized Stumpjumper 15 Pro plus full head-to-toe Specialized Kit Drawing (the Drawing) is open to contestants in the contiguous 48 United States. Shipping and insurance are not included. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time April 8, 2025. Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win. All information provided by entrants becomes the property of the NWTA. Winners will be notified via the email address provided at checkout of Drawing Entry purchase. There is no limit on the number of entries per entrant during the entry period. Entrants will receive one drawing entry per entry purchased. The NWTA is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in the announcement of the prize.
Prize and Odds:
The drawing prize is a Specialized Stumpjumper 15 Pro mountain bike (approximate retail value is $8,999.99) plus plus full head-to-toe Specialized Kit. Prize description can be found at https://nw-trail.org/support-the-trails-win-a-bike/. The prize is NOT transferable, NOT substitutable, and there is NO cash alternative. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. Shipping is NOT included; winning package must be picked up in person in Portland, OR by the winner on a mutually agreed upon day within two (2) weeks of winning package arriving at River City Bikes -or- winner agrees to any and all shipping and insurance costs.
Eligibility:
Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of the beginning of the Drawing period in order to enter the Drawing. Employees of NWTA, Board members, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and their immediate family members living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Drawing. Ineligible entries will not be refunded.
Prize Selection:
The drawing for all valid entries will be held April 8, 2025 at the NWTA’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Prize will be randomly drawn from all entries received using an accredited online random selection service. To claim the prize, the winner must sign and accept the terms of the prize acceptance and release form and provide NWTA with proof of identity. The winner must claim prize within five (5) days of notification of winning entry or the prize will be forfeited to another randomly drawn entry. In the event of forfeiture, a subsequent winner will be drawn and given five (5) days to claim the prize. Each subsequent forfeiture will result in a another randomly drawn entry until the prize is claimed. The winner is solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes that apply to prize, and any and all fees, duties, insurance costs, or expenses associated with claiming the prize. No cash substitution is permitted. The winner may not request substitution or customization requests of prize. The NWTA will not replace any lost or stolen prize. Shipping is NOT included; winning package must be picked up in person in Portland, OR by the winner on a mutually agreed upon day within two (2) weeks of winning package arriving at River City Bikes -or- winner agrees to any and all shipping and insurance costs.
Additional Conditions:
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting any prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, photo and/or likeness, biographical information, winning entry and statements attributed to winner (if true) for acknowledgement of Drawing results, without additional compensation. All entries become property of the NWTA and none will be acknowledged, deleted or returned. Void where prohibited by law.
Limitation of Liability:
By entering, you acknowledge that you understand Drawing rules, conditions, and limitations, and you agree to release and hold harmless the NWTA, RIver City Bikes, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, sponsors, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any expenses, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due, any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Drawing and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Drawing; or (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Drawing or the processing of entries.

To enter without purchase, mail a handwritten postcard to Drawing Administrator to the address listed below containing your (1) full name, (2) mailing address, including street address, city, state/district, and zip code (P.O. boxes not accepted); (3) telephone number; (4) email address; (5) date of birth; and (6) a statement that, “I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the Official Rules for the Northwest Trail Alliance Norco Optic C1 size SZ3 frame 2024 Bike Drawing”. All write-in entries must be postmarked by April 1, 2025 and received by April 8, 2025. There is a limit of one (1) write-in entry per person and per mailing address.
