DIG DAY — Sandy Ridge: Two Turntable Berm Work – 3/22
March 22 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Join us for a day of trail maintenance at Sandy Ridge focused on the top six berms of two turntables.
The top six berms on two turntables are in need of rework. Goal is to get these six berms back to their original condition. Trail work will last approximately 6 hours, wrapping up at 3:00 p.m. Typically trail work is done by 2:00 PM. Last hour is for cleaning tools and socializing.
What To Bring:
Your bike (optional)
Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt, long pants (no shorts), boots, gloves, eye protection
Jacket (be prepared)
Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
Water
Snacks
Lunch
Favorite trail tool, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own)
Optional: Folding Handsaw
Safety meeting promptly starts at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 mins early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather (except for high wind and snow), so come prepared for the elements (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
