Ride & Trail Work at Cascade Locks – 4/27

Having fun and building trail in the Columbia Gorge!
For a change of pace we are doing a test ride of the trail we have been building and then doing some trail work.
Goal is to fine tune a couple sections of trail which are 95% complete.
This is a great opportunity to be the first to ride this unique trail.
Bring your bike and we’ll provide the tools and guidance.
What To Bring:
- Bike and bike riding gear (Hint – treat this as a normal ride)
- Work clothes: long sleeve shirt, long pants (no shorts), sturdy boots, gloves, eye protection
- Jacket for changing weather and rain (be prepared)
- Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
- Water, Snacks, Lunch
- Optional: Favorite trail tool, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own).

- 9:30 am – 2:30 pm at Wyeth Rd outside of Cascade Locks

- The combined Ride & Trail Work will last approximately 6 hours, wrapping up at 2:30

Timing
Safety meeting promptly starts at 9:30 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather, so come prepared for the elements, whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
