Skills Area Project at EasyCLIMB – 10/18

Join us for a big day of trail work at the NEW skills area at EasyCLIMB.
This event is perfect for riders who want to give back to the trails we love.
The objective is to finish shaping berms, jumps, and drops. So bring you bike so we can ‘test’ our work.
This one big work party = the completion of this project.
Whether you’re a seasoned trail builder or a newbie, everyone is welcome to lend a hand and make a difference. We’ll provide the tools and guidance, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm.
What To Bring:
- Work clothes: long sleeve shirt, and long pants (no shorts)
- Sturdy boots, gloves, and eye protection
- Water, snacks, and lunch
- hardhat or bike helmet
Tools:
We will have tools, but if you have flat shovels and hardback rakes, please bring them.
Time and Place
- 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at EasyCLIMB trail on the east side of Cascade Locks
- Trail work will last approximately 4-5 hours with bonus time for test rides
Timing:
Safety meeting promptly starts at 9:15 AM. Please arrive 15–20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather, so come prepared for the elements, whatever they may be.
