Trail Sisters Dig Day at Rocky Point – 2/24

Join the Trail Sisters for a day of trail work at Rocky Point.
Join the Trail Sisters as we get after some trail work, including corridor refining, bench work and armoring. No experience is required. Trail Sisters are women and non-binary folks who love to support each other both on and off the trail.
The dig will run from 9:30 am to 1 pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We are starting promptly at 9:30 am.
We will meet in the mid-parking lot at Rocky Point and disburse from there.
What To Bring:
-Work clothes: Light long-sleeve shirt
-Long Pants (no shorts)
-Boots
-Gloves
-Eye Protection
-Gloves
-Jacket (be prepared)
-Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
-Water
-Snacks/Lunch
TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED. You are not required to bring any tools, but if you have your own folding saw, loppers, rake, shovel, or hoe, feel free to bring it.
In accordance with our agreement with Weyerhaeuser, the land manager of Rocky Point, those who enter the property must be a NWTA member in good standing and have signed the Rocky Point Waiver . Join NWTA and become one of 5,000+ mountain bikers stewarding trails together in NW Oregon and SW Washington. If the cost of membership creates a financial hardship, please reach out to us, we can help with that barrier.
These events are very popular and sell out quickly. If you are unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your registration with AT LEAST 24 hours notice so others on the waitlist have an opportunity to come.
