MEMBERSHIP
As the primary cycling-focused trail advocacy organization in the Portland region, NWTA is a community of people that loves being outside on trails. When you join NWTA, you make an immediate impact! Membership dollars make up over 70% of NWTA’s annual revenue.
Along with the volunteers that give thousands of hours of volunteer time each year, NWTA creates opportunities for everyone to enjoy access to the outdoors through bikes and trails.
We can’t do it without YOU. Your support helps:
- Build! We build and maintain trails with a dozen different land management partners, and teach the science (and art!) of trail work through our Trail Sustainability Institute.
- Advocate! We work with local land managers and community partners to advocate for more bike/multi-use trails and access close to home.
- Ride! We coordinate bike clinics, social rides, and after-school youth classes and camps to promote mountain biking for all. All ride programs are offered at little to no charge and supported by a fleet of loaner bikes.
It’s no secret that many of our land management partners — from the federal to the local level — are facing budget challenges and a new landscape of funding priorities. Your contributions to NWTA will not only continue our ongoing work for trails and outdoor recreation, but will help strengthen the work of our land management partners as they navigate these challenges.
Read our Annual Reports to see how powerful your NWTA membership is.
