Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Membership and donor contributions are tax-deductible donations to a charitable organization, and provide NWTA with over 80% of our revenue. Every dollar goes directly to the operations of NWTA to build and maintain trails, coordinate and execute bike clinics and rides, implement our Trail Sustainability Institute, and advocate for more trails close to home. Further, these dollars go to work IMMEDIATELY to make a positive impact on our local mountain bike community. Therefore, we respectfully decline requests for donation returns. Narrow exceptions are outlined below.
MEMBERSHIP REFUNDS
Returns of a tax-deductible donation (including membership contributions) are only given for duplicate orders and purchase errors due to software malfunctions.
Please contact [email protected] if you experience an issue based on the criteria as stated above. If you do not receive a decision/response within fourteen (14) business days following your request submission, please let us know.
If determined to meet the criteria, your purchase will be credited back to your original payment method within ten (10) business days following approval notice. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
PROGRAM FEE REFUNDS
Some Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) programs, events, and activities require registration fees.
Refunds will be issued in full for registration refund requests (less registration software processing fees) received no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the event start date and time. A partial refund of 50% will be issued for registration refund requests received after seven (7) days and up to twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the event. We apologize, but there are NO refunds less than twenty-four (24) hours before the event start date.
If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled event date or may be refunded in full. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full. After submitting your refund request in writing by email to [email protected], please allow up to five (5) business days to process your event refund request.
