REFund policy

Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Membership and donor dollars provide NWTA with over 80% of our revenue. Every dollar from our members goes directly to the operations of NWTA to build and maintain trails, coordinate and execute bike clinics and rides, implement our Trail Sustainability Institute, and advocate for more trails close to home. Further, these dollars go to work IMMEDIATELY to make a positive impact on our local mountain bike community. Therefore, we may respectfully decline refund requests that do not follow our policy below.

MEMBERSHIP REFUNDS

Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) does not provide refunds for partial usage, membership downgrades, or changes in membership preferences. Refunds are only given for duplicate purchases, website inaccuracies, and membership purchase errors due to software malfunctions. All other refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and issued at the discretion of NWTA. Please contact the NWTA team by submitting an email to [email protected] to request a refund.

Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of the membership purchase. NWTA will evaluate your request and determine whether or not the request is approved based on the criteria indicated above. If you do not receive a decision/response within fourteen (14) business days following your request submission, please let us know.

If approved, your purchase will be credited back to your original payment method within ten (10) business days following approval notice. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

PROGRAM FEE REFUNDS

Some Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) programs, events, and activities require registration fees.

Refunds will be issued in full for registration fee refund requests received no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the event start date and time. A partial refund of 50% will be issued for registration fee refund requests received after seven (7) days and up to twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the event. We apologize, but there are NO refunds less than twenty-four (24) hours before the event start date. 

If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled event date or may be refunded in full. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full. After submitting your refund request in writing by email to [email protected], please allow up to five (5) business days to process your event refund request.
