Event description

Hi Ladies,

Our regularly scheduled ride is during NWTA’s Stub Fest and we’re excited to participate in this fun-filled weekend of camping, trail building and riding (http://nw-trail.org/events/stub-fest-2016/). To show our support we’re going to have our group ride at Stub Steward State Park: http://www.mtbproject.com/trail/4458855 and http://www.mtbproject.com/directory/8009948.

Plan on a 2.5-3 hour ride, 14 miles, 2,000 ft of climbing. A trail ride primarily on single track, but we’ll also spend a little time riding in the freeride area – this is an intermediate + ride.

Driving/Parking Directions: Park at the Buxton Trailhead. There’s no day-use fee and saves several miles of driving to Stub Stewart State Park. We’ll get a nice spin on the Banks-Vernonia paved trail to the entrance of the park. Link to google map for driving directions: http://tinyurl.com/BuxtonTrailHead.
