5pm - 1pm
The camp out and work party at Coldwater Lake has been approved by the U.S. Forest Service for the weekend of June 1-3. This event will feature ride opportunities on Friday and Sunday, a full-on trail build on Saturday, a party on Saturday night, and a rare chance to camp on the north side of the mountain. If you haven’t been to Coldwater Lake, it’s unbelievably beautiful. We have been granted a one-of-a-kind exemption to camp right near the lake. Bring the family and make it a weekend, as there will be other families to share the experience with!
If the snow is off, we will be cleaning the 211 trail on the north side of the lake and a portion of the 230A on the south side.
Friday, June 1st: Come early to do a ride and set-up camp
Saturday, June 2nd:
Sunday, June 3rd, 9am: Break into ride groups
Camping: This is dispersed camping with no water or electricity. Make sure to bring plenty of water. However there is a bathroom.
Kids: Yes this is a kid friendly event. We will have a kid specific work party crew to show them how to maintain and build trails.
Dogs: Dogs are prohibited in this area. Please do not bring your dogs to this event. (Unless they have thumbs and can hold a tool and are trail building service dogs).
Food: We will have food for Saturday evening after the work party. Please bring a dessert to share with others.
