Help build a new trail in the deep south at Rocky Point!
AGENDA
We will be working on a new DH trail in the Deep South, a new area that’s being developed at Rocky Point.
MEETING POINT & PARKING
Rocky Point Main Parking Lot: 23999 Rocky Point Road Scappoose, OR 97056
We will carpool into the bottom of the trail to avoid any unnecessary hiking.
Parking is limited, so carpool if you can.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Work clothes: Long-sleeve shirt, long pants (no shorts), boots, gloves, eye protection
- Jacket (be prepared)
- Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
- Water
- Snacks
- Lunch
- Tools: Leaf/metal rakes, folding hand saws, pruners, digging shovels, flat shovels, McLeods, and Rouge Hoes (We have some tools, but we encourage you to bring your own)
Safety meeting starts at 9:00, please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure that you are checked in on time. We work in all weather (except high wind and snow), so come prepared for the elements (and have a change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
