NW Trail Sisters Dig Day @ Rocky Point – 11/28

November 28 @ 9:30 am 2:00 pm

Join the Trail Sisters for a day of trail work at Rocky Point.

Join the Trail Sisters as we get after some trail work, including corridor refining, bench work and armoring. No experience is required. Trail Sisters are women and nonbinary folks who support each other on and off the trail.

The dig will run from 9:30 am to 1 or 2 pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We are starting promptly at 9:30 am.

We will meet in the main parking lot at Rocky Point.

What to bring:

  • Warm clothing and extra layers.
  • Rain jacket (and rain pants if you have them and the weather calls for it): It’s January in the PNW, odds are high it’ll rain, but that doesn’t stop us from digging!
  • Gloves (waterproof are best): It wouldn’t hurt to bring an extra pair, too. Cold hands suck! We have extras if needed.
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Helmet or hard hat (required)
  • Eye protection
  • Water
  • Snacks and lunch
  • Bike and bike gear for post-dig rips

TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED. You are not required to bring any tools, but if you have your own folding saw, loppers, rake, shovel, or hoe, feel free to bring them.

Waiver: Once registered, please sign the waiver HERE.

These events are very popular and sell out quickly. If you are unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your registration with AT LEAST 24 hours notice so others on the waitlist have an opportunity to come.

Join NWTA and become one of nearly 6,000 mountain bikers stewarding trails together in NW Oregon and SW Washington. If the cost of membership creates a financial hardship, please reach out to us, we can help with that barrier.
