Dig Day – Falls Creek – 6/6

Join NWTA in the beautiful Gifford Pinchot National Forest for a day of trail work on the Falls Creek trail.

Join NWTA for our first stewardship event in the Falls Creek zone this season. This is a popular trail in the summer months and we want to get it in top shape!

We will be working on much needed tread repair, brushing and drainage work. 

Meeting Location: Old Man Pass Sno Park Load into your GPS before you lose service.

What To Bring:

Your bike (optional)

Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt, long pants (no shorts), boots, gloves, eye protection

Jacket (be prepared)

Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)

Water

Snacks

Lunch

Favorite trail tool: Folding Handsaw, hoe or metal rake (We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own)

Safety meeting promptly starts at 9:30 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 mins early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather (except for high wind and snow), so come prepared for the elements (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
