DIG DAY — Falls Creek Trail – 10/12

Join us for a day of trail maintenance at Falls Creek.
DIG DAY — Falls Creek Trail
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Falls Creek Falls/McLellan Meadows trail
Trail work will last approximately 5 hours, wrapping up at 2:00 p.m.
We will meet at the Post Office in Carson Washington and carpool to the work site.
The group will be doing tread repair on the Mclellan Meadows section of the trail. This will involve benching, pulling drains where needed and repairing some eroded sections of trail.
What To Bring:
Your bike (optional)
Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt, long pants (no shorts), boots, gloves, eye protection, and gloves
Jacket (be prepared)
Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
Water
Snacks
Lunch
Favorite trail tool, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own)
Optional: Folding Handsaw
Safety meeting promptly starts at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather, so come prepared for the elements, whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
