Come join us for a fun-filled day of digging and exploring at Klootchy Creek County Park! This in-person event is perfect for nature enthusiasts, families, and anyone who loves adventure. Discover hidden treasures, unearth fossils, and learn about the rich history of this beautiful park.
Whether you’re a seasoned digger or a first-timer, our experienced leads will be there to assist you throughout the day. Grab your shovels, buckets, and enthusiasm, and get ready to uncover the mysteries of Klootchy Creek!

10am – 3 pm at Klootchy Creek Park
Trail work will last approximately 5 hours, wrapping up at 3:00.
What To Bring:
Your bike (optional)
Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt, Long Pants (no shorts), Boots, Gloves, Eye Protection & Gloves
Jacket (be prepared)
Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
Water
Snacks
Lunch
Favorite trail tool, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own).
Optional: Folding Handsaw
Safety meeting promptly starts at 9 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather, so come prepared for the elements, whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
