Dig Day — Rocky Point – 12/22

Help build Gritty Kitty—a new trail at Rocky Point!
What To Bring:
- Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, gloves, eye protection, jacket
- Hard hat or bike helmet (This is non-negotiable. Things fall in the forest. Just like when riding, protect your noggin.)
- Water
- Snacks
- Optional: Your bike, favorite trail tool; hoes, McLeods, metal rakes, folding hand saws and loppers will be extra useful (We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own)
What we’re doing:
We will be carpooling in to near where Matterhorn singletrack starts and doing some clearing and treadwork on the top and mid sections of a new trail.
Safety meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. at the main lot gazebo. Carpool if you can. Please arrive 15-20 mins early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We work in all weather (except high wind, snow, and ice) , so come prepared for the elements.
Other important things:
You must be an NWTA member to join our dig day at Rocky Point. If you are not a member, or need to renew your membership, you can do so on our website to join nearly 6,000 other mountain bikers who are supporting our trails!
