DIG DAY — Rocky Point – 2/22

Come help us build a new trail at Rocky Point!
Who is leading this party? Chris, Julie, and Michelle are working on a new loamy blue/black trail on the south side of Rocky.
What is the timeframe for the day? 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
What is the scope of work for the day? We will carpool from the Rocky Point main lot down toward the golf course past lower Bobs and Sad Birthday. The trail is very accessible from the fire road. We will hike in to do some light raking, creating some shark fins, limbing trees, and removing logs/debris for some new line options.
Note:
Safety meeting starts at 9:00 a.m.Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We work in all weather (except high wind and snow), so come prepared for the elements.
What to bring:
- Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, gloves, eye protection, and rain jacket.
- Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
- Water
- Snacks
- Bringing a bike! We will be riding in the lines as we go
