The New Year inspires new goals and new intentions. Maybe you’ve been wanting to try your hand at mountain biking but didn’t know where to start. Maybe you weren’t familiar with local trails to ride or you want to build on the basic knowledge that you already have. This Beginner’s Ride is the ride for YOU!
Come learn foundational skills that will build your confidence on the trail in an atmosphere that is encouraging and friendly.

Skill Levels: Novice to Beginner
Novice can be described as:
•You have virtually no experience with off-road mountain biking.
•You may be comfortable on a road bike.
•You may be a casual commuter.
Beginner can be described as:
•You’ve been mountain biking for 1 year or so.
•You enjoy it but still lack the skills to tackle terrain beyond beginner level
•You know how to use your gears and brakes properly but when the terrain gets technical you have to get off your bike and walk
•You can handle single-track as long as it is smooth and with few rocks or roots
•You can ride for up to two hours at a time
