We’re starting a book club! The first meeting will be Thursday, January 10 at Lori’s house in NoPo (RSVP that you’re coming and she’ll send you the address). She does have cats so, if anyone’s really allergic, we may need to relocate.

We’ll be reading Breaking Trail by Arlene Blum. (https://www.powells.com/book/-9780156031165) This is the story of a bad ass woman breaking through in the male-dominate sport of high-altitude climbing in the 1970s and forging a path for women to follow in her footsteps.

Please indicate in the comments if you’ll be bringing a snack to share with the group. Lori will have some beer and fizzy water on hand to share, but feel free to bring wine or whatever else you’d like to share.

Elly Blue from Microcosm books will be joining us to talk about Microcosm’s awesome selection of WTF authors and she’ll also have some suggestions for future books for our group. Please feel free to suggest any books/authors you’ve been wanting to read and would like to bring to the group’s attention.
