Expand your trail-building skills side by side (okay, 6ft apart!) with other Trail Sisters on a brand new trail being built 100% by womxn.

About this Event

Are you looking to enhance your trail-building skills? Are you new to trail building and looking for a fun, supportive atmosphere to learn in? Are you looking to help build quite possibly the first NWTA trail built solely by Trail Sisters? THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!! We want to welcome all womxn and provide a comfortable space for us to learn, connect, and build!

Due to COVID – 19, we are strictly limiting the number of volunteers. We NEED you to pre-register & sign the online waiver before the event. Day of & non-pre-registered volunteers will be turned away. We have mandatory guidelines for facial coverings and social distancing measures that need to be followed. This will be shared with your registration confirmation. Please understand that this is not only for your safety but for the safety of our entire community.

What to wear:

Face Covering as recommended by the CDC

– Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt, Long Pants (no shorts), Boots, Gloves, Eye Protection & Gloves

– Jacket (be prepared)

– Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)

What to Bring:

– Water

– Snacks

– If you have these – Folding hand saw, pruning shears, rake, or loppers would be useful

Please be on time or early. We work in all weather so come prepared for the elements whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).

Due to COVID-19 you are responsible for bringing all of your own food and beverages for the event. We have tools on site but if you are more comfortable with your own please feel free to bring your own. We will tackle a range of maintenance and building projects and the project will change from week to week.
