Trail Sisters Dig Day @ Rocky Point – 11/19

Join the Trail Sisters for a day of trail work @ Rocky Point.
Dig season is here!!! Join the Trail Sisters as we get after some trail updates and maintenance on our beloved Fanny’s Yer Aunt trail (that btw, was designed and built by women). No experience is required. Trail Sisters are women and non-binary folks who love to support each other both on and off the trail.
The dig will run from 9:30 am to 1 pm with lunch (provided) to follow. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We are starting promptly at 9:30 am.
We will meet in the mid-parking lot at Rocky Point and disburse from there.
What To Bring:
-Work clothes: Light long-sleeve shirt
-Long Pants (no shorts)
-Jacket (be prepared)
-Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
Lunch is provided
TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED. You are not required to bring any tools, but if you have your own folding saw, loppers, rake, shovel, or hoe, feel free to bring it.
In accordance with our agreement with Weyerhaeuser, the land manager of Rocky Point, those who enter the property must be a NWTA member in good standing and have signed the Rocky Point Waiver . Join NWTA and become one of 5,000+ mountain bikers stewarding trails together in NW Oregon and SW Washington. If the cost of membership creates a financial hardship, please reach out to us, we can help with that barrier.
These events are very popular and sell out quickly. If you are unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your registration with AT LEAST 24 hours notice so others on the waitlist have an opportunity to come.
