August 26 @ 5:00 pm – August 28 @ 4:00 pm
Trail Sisters, join us for a guided bikepacking weekend August 26-28th in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
About this event
Come bikepacking with the Trail Sisters! Led by three women who completed the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) in summer ’21.
This weekend trip is perfect for NWTA members who identify as female and non-binary, who want to try bikepacking and make new bikepacking friends.
Participation will be capped at 12. Please be in good riding shape (check the route descriptions), have a functioning bike suited for the non-technical terrain (mountain or gravel bike or similar), and be able to carry your own camping gear.
Dates: Aug 26-28 (Meet at Goose Lake campground Friday night, return to Goose Lake by Sunday mid-afternoon)
Route: Fire and Ice Cave Loop
Questions? Contact Megan at [email protected] (put Bikepacking in subject line)
We will be in touch in early August with questions for participants, and more details including the food and drinks and other items that will be provided by NWTA, and to help coordinate carpooling and gear sharing.
NWTA events like these are made possible through membership support. If you are not yet a member or need to renew your membership, you can do so here.
