Trailforks.com

Built on approximately four acres of city property on the Cowlitz River, the Castle Rock Bike Park includes two pump tracks, three jump lines, an elevated trail, a variety of skinnies and log rides, and numerous other skill-building features. The park is open during daylight hours.

Access

Take Exit 49 off I-5. Turn left/west onto Huntington Avenue. Follow the signs to the park, which is on Dike Road.

History

Growlers Gulch Racing approached secured City Council approval in Nov 2010, construction began in 2011, and the park was opened in Sep 2012. Most of the materials and money raised for the park was through dontaions from local businesses and bikes. Nearly 3,000 volunteer hours have been recorded (as of early 2020). One of the most unique things about the site is the extensive use of recycled or repurposed materials. Every September, GGR and NWTA host the Bike Park Blowout, which draws kids and families from throughout the region.
