The access pass for Scappose goes on sale May 16th at 7pm on the www.wyrecreation.com website. The trails along the south side of Rocky Point road require this pass and are $75 for a year. Because pass sales were low last year at this special location they have decided to recombine the area into larger parcel open for many other uses, thus it is possible the pass will sell out in the first hour, similar to the first year. So do not delay or you will not be able to access the popular down hill trails. This pass does not apply to the trails on the northside, which is under private lease (more information shortly). Also if you ride the extensive trail system at “Stella” in Longview a separate pass is required through the same website.
