Advocacy Alert! – Clark County, WA Members

Heads up Clark County, Washington! The 6-year PROS Plan (Parks Recreation and Open Space Plan) is up for a new plan that reflects community priorities and establishes long-term goals for land acquisition, facility development, and parks management. On September 22, 2015, the Board of City Council voted 3-0 to adopt a new plan. The PROS Plan is required every 6 years to maintain eligibility for state and federal grants. We’ve attached the link to the survey to fill out along with extra information. Put your input in! DEADLINE 8/31

“The comprehensive plan is a requirement of the Growth Management Act and is intended to guide how the county provides parks, trails, natural areas, sport fields, and other recreation offerings across Clark County”

The survey consists of 21 questions regarding current use of facilities, preferred activities, and support for future improvements. It takes about 5-6 minutes to complete, and County residents of all ages are encouraged to participate.
