Call for 2018 Northwest Trail Alliance board candidates and administrative volunteers!

The Northwest Trail Alliance’s (NWTA) mission is to make Portland, NW Oregon and SW Washington, a recognized and acclaimed haven for mountain biking and off-road cycling. The NWTA is an all-volunteer organization, from trail building to advocacy work with local and state leaders. We are looking for bright, diverse, committed, professional individuals to join our board or to serve as administrative level volunteers to ensure our continued success.

Board members act on behalf of our membership to determine the direction and focus of our organization’s resources. Successful board members devote 5+ hours per week to meeting the organization’s needs. We ask all board candidates to create a short, 2 paragraph bio that includes your history with mountain biking, what specific professional skills you would bring to the NWTA, and what direction you hope to move the NWTA towards in the future.

The NWTA’s membership votes on board candidates at our January 30th, 2018 member meeting. We ask all interested parties to submit candidate bios by January, 15th, 2018. To submit your bio, to get additional information, or to to volunteer for administrative opportunities outside of the board, please email [email protected]
