As you might be aware, the Metro Council unanimously approved the access master plan for Chehalem Ridge Nature Park last fall. During the planning process, NWTA was an active proponent of the plan and worked with Metro and community partners to help make the most of Chehalem Ridge.
Since then, Metro has started the design engineering process for the first phase of park improvements. These are expected to include a parking area, day-use facilities, and a series of trails for walking, off-road cycling and horseback riding.
Hear that NWTA members? Trails for off-road cycling!!
Want an opportunity to visit Chehalem Ridge before the park is built? Join Metro for a sneak peak tour from 1 to 4:15 p.m. Saturday, May 19. Advance registration is required as tour size is limited.
