Stub Stewart Trail Work Party – Sat Sept 29
September 29, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
In partnership with Trailkeepers of Oregon, NWTA is co-hosting a trail work party at LL Stub Stewart State Park to realign the Williams Creek Horseshoe trail – transforming it from an old, overgrown logging road into an undulating, creekside multi-use trail for hikers, equestrians, and mountain bikers.
The realignment follows the contours of Williams Creek south of the Banks Vernonia State Trail and offers beautiful creek views. The Williams Creek Horseshoe realignment project will provide a cross-country trail riding alternative to the paved BVST between the Shoofly MTB trailhead and the Buxton BVST trailhead.
Work Party Logistics:
8:30am – 3:30pm Saturday September 29
