Please be cautious when driving from Highway 30 to the Rocky Point main parking area. Logging activity at Rocky Point will affect traffic flow on Rocky Point Road just downhill from the parking area. Large trucks and equipment will be entering and leaving the North side gate regularly throughout the next several months. The North gate, which is across the road from the main parking area and downhill a few turns, is a difficult merge onto Rocky Point Road. It does not have the best visibility for oncoming traffic. All truck traffic exiting the North side of the trail system will be heading down toward Highway 30, i.e., turning left. Trucks entering the North side of the trail system will be coming uphill from highway 30 and turning right into the North side gate.
