We will be working on trail maintenance and trail building at Klootchy throughout the fall and winter. Beginners are welcome- we have projects at every level. More new trails are in process on the Klootchy property. We are completing a beginner’s down trail just off Greenwood, and we are also working on an intermediate skill-building area on the west side. There are new spurs up on Low Tide as well. The map at the kiosk is new, and Trailforks is updated.
We are in the wet season. Much of Klootchy is rideable in winter, but please use your best trail manners. Most of the trails drain well, but there is a lot of dirt that is still getting packed in from last season’s builds. If the rain has been heavy, please give the trails a day or two to dry out.
