Despite a grim forecast, a group of about 25 brave souls ventured out on December 2 to do some serious maintenance work on Twisted Sisters at Rocky Point Trails. Our adventurous volunteers broke into smaller teams to tackle projects across the entire trail. We fixed ruts, cut drains, enhanced berms, scraped muck, and raked the trail top to bottom. After putting in a strong effort everyone had the chance to enjoy some chili & cornbread, courtesy of NWTA Board member Charlie Kohlmeier.
Thanks to everyone that came out. Rocky Point would not be the trail system that it is without the continued and dedicated support provided by our volunteers. Cheers, and happy trails.
