Nwta 2020 “For the love of Trails” Bike Drawing Official Rules and conditions

How to Participate:

Entries for the drawing described at https://www.nw-trail.org/for-the-love-of-trails-bike-drawing (the Description Site) can be purchased1 at https://nwtrail.z2systems.com/np/clients/nwtrail/product.jsp?product=2& (the Purchase Site). A digital download URL will be provided via email receipt in consideration for each Entry purchased from the Purchase site. Each purchased Entry is one chance to win. Bonus entries (up to 3, contingent upon purchase from the Purchase Site) can be obtained following instructions on the digital download page “Bonus Entry Table” by: 1. Clicking the “+1” button to visit the @nwtrailalliance Instagram profile Liking our account, 2. Clicking the “+1” button to Like the @nwtrailalliance “For the Love of Trails” Instagram post and tagging two friends, and 3. Clicking the “+1” button to Like the NWTA “For the Love of Trails” Facebook post https://www.facebook.com/nwtrail/. All valid entries1, as determined by the Northwest Trail Alliance, Inc. (NWTA), a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation under the laws of the State of Oregon, in its sole and absolute discretion, will be entered into a drawing for the indicated prizes.

Drawing Rules:

The Northwest Trail Alliance 2020 “For the Love of Trails” Bike Drawing (the Drawing) is open to contestants worldwide. All online entries must be received between 00:01 AM August 18, 2020 and 11:59 PM PST September 30, 20201 . Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win and claim prize. All information provided by entrants becomes the property of the NWTA. Winners will be notified via the email address provided with drawing entries. There is no limit on the number of online entries per entrant during the entry period. You will receive one drawing entry per entry purchased. The NWTA is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in the announcement of the prize.  

Prizes and Odds:

First prize is for a custom built Pivot 29er of size of choice. Frame, component and accessories sizes and colors choice are subject to availability, and may require delay of shipping. Frame choices are: Firebird, Switchblade, or Trail429. Second prize is for a Showers Pass kit. Prize descriptions can be found at https://www.nw-trail.org/for-the-love-of-trails-bike-drawing. The prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.

Eligibility:

You must be 18 years of age or older as of the beginning of the Drawing period in order to enter the Drawing. Employees of NWTA, NWTA board members, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Drawing. Participation in the Drawing constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Void where the rules and conditions of the Drawing are prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

Prize Selection:

The drawing for all valid entries will be held within 5 business days after the deadline for entries, at the NWTA’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Prizes will be randomly drawn from all entries received. Winners must claim prizes within 5 days of notification of winning entry or prizes will be forfeited to another randomly drawn entry. In the event the first prize results in forfeiture, the second prize winner will be given 5 days to claim first prize, at which time another second prize winner will be selected. Each forfeiture will result in a another randomly drawn entry until a prize is claimed. Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes that apply to prizes, and any and all fees, duties, insurance costs, or expenses associated with claiming prizes. No cash substitution is permitted.  Winner’s substitution or customization requests of prizes are at the sole discretion of the NWTA and may involve additional cost to the winner. The NWTA will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Prizes will be shipped within three weeks of the claiming prizes, subject to delays caused by custom item choice availability. Shipping will be paid by NWTA within 48 mainland US states. Hawaii, Alaska, and international shipping will be covered by NWTA up to $350 US.

Additional Conditions:

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting any prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, photo and/or likeness, biographical information, winning entry and statements attributed to winner (if true) for acknowledgement of Drawing results purposes without additional compensation. All entries become property of the NWTA and none will be acknowledged, deleted or returned. Void where prohibited by law.

Limitation of Liability:

By entering, you acknowledge that you understand Drawing rules, conditions, and limitations, and you agree to release and hold harmless the NWTA and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, sponsors, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any expenses, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due, any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Drawing and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Drawing; or (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Drawing or the processing of entries.

To enter without purchase, mail a handwritten postcard to Drawing Administrator to the address listed below containing your (1) full name, (2) mailing address, including street address, city, state/district, and zip code (P.O. boxes not accepted); (3) telephone number; (4) email address; (5) date of birth; and (6) a statement that, “I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the Official Rules for the Northwest Trail Alliance 2020 For the Love of Trails Bike Drawing”.  All write-in entries must be postmarked by September 1, 2020 and received by September 15, 2020. There is a limit of one (1) write-in entry per person and per mailing address.
