Dig Day and Trail Maintenance at Stub – 2/24

Help us get the Free Ride Area ready to ride!
Come join us for a fun-filled day of building a new climb trail, trail maintenance, and exploring at Stub Stewart State Park! This in-person event is perfect for nature enthusiasts, families, and anyone who loves to work in the great outdoors.
Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or a first-timer, our experienced leads will be there to assist you throughout the day.
10am – 3pm
Meet at the far end of the Hill Top parking lot.
Trail work will last approximately 5 hours, wrapping up at 3:00. We will have beer afterwards.
What To Bring:
Be prepared to possibly hike through some muddy trails due to thinning activities.
Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt, Long Pants (no shorts), Boots, Gloves, Eye Protection & Gloves
Jacket (be prepared)
Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
Water
Snacks
Bike – We will bike into the Free Ride area, expect there to be some hike a bike.
Safety meeting promptly starts at 10 am. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather, so come prepared for the elements, whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
