DIG DAY — SANDY RIDGE – 6/2

Join us for a day of trail maintenance at Sandy Ridge.
Come join us for a fun-filled day of trail work at Sandy Ridge! Located in the foothills of Mt. Hood, the trails at Sandy Ridge often absorb some wild winter weather and are in need of some spring time tune-ups. Whether you’re a seasoned digger or a first-timer, all are welcome to attend. NWTA crew leads will be there to assist you throughout the day.
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Trailhead
Trail work will last approximately 5 hours, wrapping up at 3:00 p.m.
What To Bring:
Your bike (optional)
Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt, Long Pants (no shorts), Boots, Gloves, Eye Protection & Gloves
Jacket (be prepared)
Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
Water
Snacks
Lunch
Favorite trail tool, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own).
Optional: Folding Handsaw
Safety meeting promptly starts at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. We work in all weather, so come prepared for the elements, whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish).
