Yesterday, Proper Cycle Werks and Nancy Stone led a crew of 15 NW Trail Sisters around Growlers for a great mini-clinic. We braved the chilly morning in Castle Rock and wound our way to some of the higher trails in the Growlers system under the watchful eye of Mt. Saint Helens. Warmed up, we settled in to session some switchbacks and Kevin and Braden did an excellent job breaking down body positioning, technique and flow. It was awesome to watch how quickly the crew progressed!
After the mini-clinic, we said goodbye to the guys and Nancy, assisted by her rad crew of leaders (Shout out to Susie , took us on a great tour of Growlers. Nine miles and a couple thousand feet of climbing later, we made it back to our cars exhausted but happy! The Growlers system never disappoints!
